National restaurant
This nationally recognised restaurant chain was having problems in relation to succession planning. They have a commitment to promote from within where ever possible but they identified a high failure rate nationally when promoting people to the position of restaurant manager.
Solution:
We worked with them by putting all their managers through the Axia Talent Benchmark system, which provided current performance statistics. From this the ATB worked out the clear differences and talents required to be successful in this role.
Following implementation of the benchmark, the company reported a cut in the failure rate of 30 percent and, both those promoted and turned down, indicated increased job satisfaction as the benchmark had highlighted where their talents were best put to work.
This organisation is now working on using the Axia Talent Benchmark for other “front of the house” and “back of the house” positions nationwide.
